Restoration and Museumization of the National Photo Gallery Marubi
On March 30th 2014, at the premises of the “Milenium”’ Cinema in Shkodër, the public hearing to announce the project design award for “The restoration and museumization of the national photo gallery” was organised.
This activity finalizes the second phase of “Call for Proposals”’ for the project-design on the National Design Competition for the National Photo Gallery which was organised by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the Albanian Development Fund and Atelier Albania.
Classe 2On the 28th of July, in Classe (Ravenna) there has been inaugurated and opened to the public with the presence of the Italian Minister of the Culture and Tourism, Dario Franceschini, the first station of the Archaeological Park.
The relevant museum project foresees the restitution of the ancient spirit and context in the new dress of modern usability which aims at fostering the accessibility, the interactivity and the powerful and evocative multimedia experiences in the same site in which the ancient commercial port once rose.
sindacoRestoration of Cultural Centre in Padna
Municipality of Piran has restorated the new cultural centre “Božidar Jakac” in Padna with the total reconstruction of the exteriors and interiors of the building and the complete furniture and multimedial equipment of the premises.
The cost of intervention (around 400.000,00€) has been supported by the IPA Adriatic CBC territorial cooperation Programme in the framework of the HERA project in which Municipality of Piran is partner.
DSC 3852New arrangement design of Tourist Information Centre in Campli
Campli celebrated the rearrengement of the new Tourist Information Center in the Farnese Square, which has been refurnished and equipped by Consorzio Punto Europa teramo within the activities of HERA project and the financial assistance of the IPA Adriatic Cross-Border Cooperation Programme. At the opening ceremony, the attendees were addressed by the Mayor of the Municipality of Campli Mr. Quaresimale and other regional and local administrative stakeholders and it was projected the territorial audiovisive tourism product which will be presented in the three international tourism fairs in London, Madrid and Milan.
Tourist Information CenterNew Tourist Information Centre in Postojna
The Opening Event of the new Tourist Information Center, which was constructed in scope of the project HERA and has been produced with the financial assistance of the IPA Adriatic Cross-Border Cooperation Programme, was held on 4th July 2014 on street Tržaška in Postojna.
At the opening ceremony, the attendees were addressed by the Mayor of the Municipality of Postojna Mr. Jernej Verbič and the President of the Tourist Association of Slovenia, Mr. Peter Misja.


Awarded Tourist Information Centre in Postojna

01In the framework of theevent Wooden house - Icon this year for the first time awards Icon 2015 with the aim of promoting greater use of wood in different living environments. After the selection of the editorial board of the journal Houses is among this year's winners in the category Icon 2015 - Wood in the city, an award given to the project Tourist Information Centre Postojna, which was obtained within the project HERA, co-funded by the European Union, IPAAdriatic.

HERA 3rd Steering Committee meeting 15th – 16th October 2014  Postojna, Slovenia

City of Postojna, is organising for the next 15th-16th October, the third partnership and steering committe meeting of the HERA project.

The meeting is essential to assess the current state of implementation of the whole project activities especially focusing discussion on the Capitalization and sustainability with an Overview of the status of implementation of the WG Study Visits and Thematic workshops along with the Presentation of 3 Thematic Action Guidelines

Results of the 2nd Steering Committee meeting 17th – 18th June 2014  Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina


City of Mostar was the host of the 2nd Project Team and Steering Committee meeting of HERA project which was held on June 17th and 18th 2014 in Mostar City Hall building. Representatives of almost all Project's Final beneficiaries’ institutions attended this meeting, i.e. Zadar County, Split Dalmatia County, Šibenik-Knin County, Dubrovnik Neretva County, Region of Istria, Primorje – Gorski Kotar County, City of Mostar, Development Agency of the Una-Sana Canton, Albanian Development Fund, Municipality of Postojna, Municipality of Piran, Province of Rimini, University of Foggia, Province of Ravenna, Consortium Europe Point Teramo, Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism of Montenegro, Abruzzo Region. Final beneficiaries from Serbia and Greece, i.e. Ministry of Finance and Economy of Republic of Serbia and Region of Ionian Islands did not attend the meeting.

2nd HERA Partnership and Steering committee meeting

Mostar 17th – 18th June 2014mostar

City of Mostar, is organising for the next 17th-18th june, the second partnership and steering committe meeting of the HERA project.

The meeting is essential to assess the current state of implementation of the whole project activities.

Moreover the partnership will focus on the collected reported Case Studies aiming at evaluating the most promising and succesfull experiences in culural valorisation of the adriatic involved territories.

Three parallel WG workshops will be held in order to overview and to apply the most suitable Case Studies Assessment Methodology and to select the Best practices to be approved by the Steering Committee.
